Mobile on the Move

Just like the people who use them, mobile app design is constantly on the move. Often, it is the leaders in the app industry who dictate what an app should look and feel like. Because they put so much time, money and resources into this convenience-based and money-making endeavor, a new app design can become the standard by which all others follow. And when you add to this the constant improvement of mobile phone technology, an app can become obsolete within a matter of months instead of years. The “set it and forget it” option is not a valid one in this field. The speed and progression of mobile apps is fascinating to watch, and staying on top or ahead of it is a must for every designer.
